The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) LEOCEM FA Cup has reached the round of 32 after Sierra Leone Police edged Leicester City 4-3 on post-match penalties after a goalless draw in the Western Area District finals. The round of 32 would be played in a home and away basis with the away goal rule taken into consideration.

The first leg matches will be played on the 16th, 17th and 18th July while the return leg will be on the 23rd, 24th and 25th July. The winners of each of the 16 fixtures will bag Two Million, five hundred thousand Leones as progression fee to the round of 16.

East End Lions will host their bitter rival Mighty Blackpool on Saturday at the Siaka Steven stadium in the mouth-watering showdown.It`s one of the biggest derbies in the country and East End Lions are 2 points clear with as they face their rivals `The Tis Tas Boys` for the second time this season. Raymond Samuel Lewis aka `Mourinho` has urged his boys to be ruthless in tomorrow`s showdown.

Mighty Blackpool defeated EE Lions 5-4 on post game penalty at the Brima Atouga complex in a three-day gala organized by the Western Area Sports Promoters.East End Lions have lost only once in the league in this season and Mourinho is rely on the country`s inform striker Donald Wellington to do the job against their arch rivals. Mighty Blackpool have failed to registered a win in their three previous fixtures as they sit bottom with two points. They have conceded two goals away from home which is better than their opponent defensive record this season.However East End Lions will have to go for the win to move two points clear over league leaders Bo Rangers.

Meanwhile, FC Kallon who defeated Mighty Blackpool will play host to Ports Authority in another mouth-watering on Sunday at the Siaka Steven stadium. Ports Authority are going in Sunday`s fixture with a better record over FC Kallon. The `Water Front Boys` played to a 1-1 draw with Central Parade last week and they have failed to register a win in their last two previous matches after they played to goalless draw with Gem Stars in match day one. Kallon defeated Mighty Blackpool 1-0 last week and head coach Amidu Karim has urged his young boys to continue that winning mentality against Ports Authority in Sunday`s clash.

Former Sierra Leone skipper Ibrahim Kargbo has vehemently denied the fresh match-fixing allegations dating back between 2006 and 2010.The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) today said they have uncovered evidence against the former Willem II midfielder who allegedly attempted to fix a match in the Dutch league.Kargbo, 33, claimed he had no knowledge of the allegations when he was asked by this medium.

The Dutch Football Association says it has uncovered evidence of match-fixing by former Sierra Leone international Ibrahim Kargbo.It is alleged that in August 2009 Kargbo, then a Willem II player, tried to fix a match against FC Utrecht.
